Ingredient of the Month: Turmeric (Curcuma) 🫚🧡

This July, we are thrilled to highlight Turmeric (Curcuma) as our ingredient of the month. This vibrant and versatile spice can be found in one of our most delightful and healthful blends.

The Origin of Turmeric

Turmeric, with its golden hue and earthy flavour, has been treasured for thousands of years. Originating from Southeast Asia, this powerful root is a staple in Ayurvedic and traditional medicine. It is widely used in cooking, dyeing fabrics, and for its medicinal properties. Turmeric adds a warm, slightly bitter taste to teas, which pairs wonderfully with ginger and other spices.
